Magnus Ericson (SE) is an independent curator and project co-ordinator based in Stockholm. He is a guest teacher at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design responsible for a professional postgraduate course ‘Organising Discourse’. Between 2009 and 2014 he has been a senior advisor/co-ordinator and curator for a new design-related program at Arkdes (former Swedish Museum of Architecture) in Stockholm. Examples of curated (and co-curated) exhibitions and events include the series ‘The Project Room’, ‘48 Hours’, ‘Environments and Counter Environments; Italy the New Domestic Landscape, MoMA 1972’ , ‘Curating and Counter Curating’ and ‘Aternative Architecture’. Between 2007 and 2009, he was responsible for initiating the design, crafts and architecture program at Iaspis, the Swedish Arts Grants Committee's International Programme for Visual Arts. There, he initiated and managed the program and book DESIGN ACT Socially and Politically Engaged Design Today with Ramia Mazé (Berlin: Sternberg Press / Iaspis, 2011). Previously he was a curator and project co-ordinator at Magasin 3 Stockholm Konsthall.
